Serien, der bøjer reglerne for komediegenren med et miks af både komedie og krimi, er skabt af Rebecca Addelman (“Dead to Me”). I hovedrollerne ses Kate Beckinsale (“Jolt”) og den spirende stjerne Jules Latimer. Den første sæson består af 10 afsnit og får premiere torsdag d. 28. oktober, hvor de første to afsnit lægges ud – eksklusivt på Paramount+.

Guilty Party – det handler den om

GULITY PARTY følger Beth Burgess (Beckinsale), der er en miskrediteret journalist, som desperat prøver at redde sin karriere. Det gør hun ved at kaste sig over en historie om en ung mor, Toni Plimpton (Latimer), der er blevet idømt livsvarigt fængsel for at have lemlæstet og myrdet sin mand. Hun hævder selv, at hun er uskyldig. I sit intense forsøg på at afdække sandheden kommer Beth på dybt vand, da hun må kæmpe med både våbensmuglere i Colorado, tidens clickbait-kultur samt hendes egen plettede fortid og ægteskabelige udfordringer.
