Endelig bekræftet: Natportieren får en sæson 2

Natportieren eller original titlen The Night Manager baseret på John Le Carrés roman ’The Night Manager’ blev til en tv-serie tilbage i 2016. De seks afsnit blev instrueret af Susanne Bier og fik ret god feedback, så der har længe været snakket om en ny sæson.

Nu er det så endelig bekræftet, at der kommer en sæson 2 af serien. Tom Hiddleston er tilbage i sin ikoniske rolle som Jonathan Pine, mens Hugh Laurie er executive producer på den nye sæson.

Sæson 2 bliver til i et samarbejde mellem BBC og Prime Video, så vi i Danmark får altså den nye sæson at se på Prime Video og ikke på DR, som var stedet første sæson havde oprindelig premiere.

Tom Hiddleston glæder sig til at genoptage rollen og udtaler “The first series of The Night Manager was one of the most creatively fulfilling projects I have ever worked on. The depth, range and complexity of Jonathan Pine was, and remains, a thrilling prospect. I’m so looking forward to reuniting with Simon and Stephen Cornwell, David Farr and Stephen Garrett, and to working with Georgi Banks-Davies to tell the next chapter of our story. I can’t wait.”
