Netflix har bestilt nye serie, Narcos, til premiere i 2015

I 2015 har Netflix premiere på serien Narcos – en original serie fra Netflix om den colombianske narkobaron Pablo Escobar.

”Elite Squad”-instruktøren Jose Padilha står bag Narcos, som har Wagner Moura i hovedrollen som den magtfulde og brutale narkosmugler.

Alle seriens 10 afsnit får premiere samtidig i alle Netflix lande i starten af 2015. 

“Jose and Wagner together created one of the most sophisticated and chilling portraits of criminality and official corruption ever in their Elite Squad movies,” udtaler Netflix Chief Content Officer Ted Sarandos. “Their version of the Escobar saga will be like nothing ever seen before.”

“Our idea is to tell the true story of how cocaine became such a huge problem in the U.S. and Europe – and how it all started here in Medellin,” siger instruktør Jose Padilha, der forbedereder Narcos i optagelserne i Columbia.
