Ny fransk miniserie på 4 episoder med premiere 11. maj

Created and directed by Antoine Chevrollier, “Oussekine” is the first drama series examining the tragic events in Paris, France in 1986 that led to the death of Malik Oussekine (Sayyid El Alami) and the dramatic consequences on his family: his mother Aïcha (Hiam Abbas), his brothers Ben Amar (Malek Lamraoui) and Mohamed (Tewfik Jallab), substitute father of the siblings since the death of their father Miloud (Slimane Dazi); his sisters Fatna (Naidra Ayadi) and Sarah (Mouna Soualem) who will sacrifice everything for justice to be done.

Kad Merad is Maitre George Kiejman, the family’s lawyer, Olivier Gourmet is the minister of Public Safety Robert Pandraud, and Laurent Stocker from the Comédie Française Kiejman’ partner, Maitre Dartevelle. Thierry Godard, Gilles Cohen, Mathieu Demy, Matthieu Lucci, Richard Sammut, Louis Berthélémy, Vincent Colombe and Bastien Bouillon round out the cast.

Disney+ har frigivet de første billeder fra deres kommende nye serie Life & Beth, der har Amy Schumer i hovedrollen og som producer.  Serien er på 10 episoder og har premiere 18. maj.

Life & Beth – det handler den om

“Life & Beth” tells the story of Beth (Amy Schumer, “Trainwreck,” “I Feel Pretty”), a woman whose life would look pretty great on paper. Impressive to everyone she grew up with, she makes a good living as a wine distributor, she’s in a long-term relationship with a successful guy and lives in Manhattan. When a sudden incident forces Beth to engage with her past, her life changes forever. Through flashbacks to her teen self, Beth starts to learn how she became who she is and who she wants to become. We’ll go on her journey towards building a bigger, bolder and more authentic life, learning to express herself and living in an intentional way. A trip down memory lane is a strong source of trauma, comedy and moving forward.

“Life & Beth” is written, directed, and executive-produced by series star Amy Schumer and executive-produced by Kevin Kane, Daniel Powell and Ryan McFaul. The series also stars Michael Cera, Susannah Flood and Violet Young. Guest stars include Kevin Kane, Yamaneika Saunders, Laura Benanti, Larry Owens, Michael Rapaport, Rosebud Baker and LaVar Walker.

Den britiske dramakomedie Ten Percent fra BAFTA-vinderen John Morton (kendt for Twenty Twelve, W1A) har premiere på Prime Video i morgen den 28. april. Serien er inspireret af den franske originalserie Dix Pour Cent, eller bedre kendt som Call My Agent. Ten Percent holder fast i følelsen fra den franske original, men foregår her på et talentbureau i London. Serien afspejler John Mortons unikke og britiske tone, men med nye perspektiver.
