The 10-episode series is adapted from Napolitano’s bestselling, acclaimed novel of the same name, and stars an ensemble cast that includes Emmy Award nominee Connie Britton, SAG Award winner Taylor Schilling and newcomer Colin O’Brien.
“Dear Edward” tells the story of Edward Adler (played by O’Brien), a 12-year-old boy who survives a devastating commercial plane crash that kills every other passenger on the flight, including his family. As Edward and a diverse ensemble of others affected by the tragedy try to make sense of life after the crash, unexpected friendships, romances and communities are formed. The series reunites Katims and Connie Britton following their Emmy-winning collaboration on “Friday Night Lights,” who stars alongside Schilling, O’Brien, Amy Forsyth, Eva Ariel Binder, Brittany S. Hall, Idris Debrand, Carter Hudson, Maxwell Jenkins, Jenna Qureshi, Audrey Corsa, Anna Uzele, Ivan Shaw and Dario Ladani Sanchez.

Apple TV+ er på vej med en ny original komedieserie med Jason Segel og Harrison Ford på rollelisten. Serien har titlen Shrinking og har nu fået premiere på tjenesten 27. januar.
I “Shrinking” følger vi en sørgende terapeut (spillet af Segel), som begynder at bryde reglerne og fortælle sine klienter præcis, hvad han mener. Da han blæser på etik og regler skaber han enorme, tumultariske ændringer i folks liv… inklusive sit eget.
Om Harrison Ford’s rolle:
Dr. Phil Rhodes beskrives som en jordnær, skarp psykolog med et altid nærværende glimt. Phil er en pioner inden for kognitiv adfærdsterapi og har opbygget en succesfuld praksis gennem årene. Phil er tvunget til at håndtere sin diagnose af Parkinsons sygdom, hvilket tvinger ham ud af sin komfortzone, mens han kæmper med påtrængende venner, sin fremmedgjorte familie og hans arv.
Shrinking er skrevet og executive produceret af Segel sammen med Ted Lasso medskaber Bill Lawrence og Brett Goldstein.
