Boom! Boom! The World vs. Boris Becker er titlen på en ny Apple TV+ dokumentar i to dele. Den får premiere på tjenesten 7. april.
Boom! Boom! The World vs. Boris Becker er skabt af den Oscar-vindende instruktør Alex Gibney.
Dokumentserien udforsker alle aspekter af manden, der blev en tennissensation efter at have vundet Wimbledon-mesterskaberne i en alder af kun 17, ofor derefter at fortsætte med at vinde 49 karrieretitler, inklusive seks Grand Slams og en olympisk guldmedalje. Og naturligvis også det højprofilerede, nogle gange tumultariske, privatliv.
Filmskaberne fulgte Becker i mere end tre år, indtil slutningen af april 2022, hvor han blev idømt to og et halvt års fængsel for at skjule aktiver og lån for at undgå at betale sin gæld.
“Boom! Boom! The World vs. Boris Becker” byder på en række personlige interviews med Becker, medlemmer af hans nærmeste familie og tennisstjerner, herunder John McEnroe, Bjorn Borg, Novak Djokovic, Mats Wilander og Michael Stich.

Having found true love in the town of Schmigadoon, season two of “Schmigadoon!” will find Josh (Keegan-Michael Key) and Melissa (Cecily Strong) in Schmicago, the reimagined world of ’60s and ’70s musicals. The second season of Apple’s broadly acclaimed comedy will include new original musical numbers from co-creator and executive producer Cinco Paul, as well as returning stars Cecily Strong, Keegan-Michael Key, Ariana DeBose, Martin Short, Dove Cameron, Jaime Camil, Kristin Chenoweth, Alan Cumming, Ann Harada, Jane Krakowski and Aaron Tveit are set to return, with Tituss Burgess and Patrick Page joining the cast for season two.
“Schmigadoon!” is co-created by Cinco Paul and Ken Daurio, and produced by Universal Television, a division of Universal Studio Group and Broadway Video. Paul serves as showrunner and wrote all of the original songs for the series. Lorne Michaels is executive producer.

Only if we care, will we help. Only if we help, can they be saved.” The cast also includes Tamara Almeida (“Secrets at the Inn”), Dan Abramovici (“Wayne”), newcomer Jazz Allen and Sam Marra (“Stumptown”).
From Sinking Ship Entertainment, “Jane,” a live-action/CGI-blended series, is created by company partner J.J. Johnson who executive produces alongside Christin Simms, Blair Powers, Matt Bishop and the Jane Goodall Institute’s Andria Teather.

“Drops of God” is set in the world of gastronomy and fine wines. Frenchman Alexandre Léger, creator of the famous Léger Wine Guide and emblematic figure in oenology, has just passed away at his home in Tokyo at the age of 60. He leaves behind a daughter, Camille (Geffrier), who lives in Paris and hasn’t seen her father since her parents separated when she was nine years old. When Camille flies to Tokyo and Léger’s will is read, she discovers that her father has left her an extraordinary wine collection – the greatest collection in the world according to the experts. But, to claim the inheritance, Camille must compete with a brilliant young oenologist, Issei Tomine (Yamashita). Biological daughter versus spiritual son: the duel is about to begin. There are three tests to break the tie, all related to wine tasting. The winner will take ownership of Léger’s empire, the loser will leave empty handed. But how could Camille win such a duel? She knows nothing about wine, and worse: she has never drunk a single drop.
