The Swedish TV series directed by Richard Holm will premiere exclusively on NENT Group’s streaming service Viaplay in 2020.

Set on the border between Norway and Sweden, the eight-part series The Machinery is co-written by Kjersti Ugelstad (Torpedo) and Niclas Ekström (30 Degrees in February).

The Wave’s Kristoffer Joner plays family man Olle Hultén, who wakes up on a ferry between Sweden and Norway with no memory of how he got there. What happened? Why is there a gun, a balaclava and a suitcase full of cash next to him? And can he escape both the police and his own secret past?
