This is just a quick message to let you know about our next Ultra HD trial: David Attenborough’s newest natural history series ‘Seven Worlds, One Planet’ beginning this Sunday 27 October.
To watch this series on demand in stunning Ultra HD quality, you’ll need:
1. A compatible Ultra HD TV from our list of supported devices here: https://www.bbc.co.uk/iplayer/help/questions/features/uhd-connected-tv#supported
2. A high-speed internet connection of at least 12MBit/s for 2560 pixel UHD or 24MBit/s for the full 3840 pixel Ultra HD experience. We recommend a wired connection from the TV to the home router for the most consistent performance.
Make sure the video quality on the BBC iPlayer app on your TV is set to Best Quality. You can find out how to do that here: https://www.bbc.co.uk/iplayer/help/questions/getting-started-with-bbc-iplayer/set-video-quality-tv
You can find episodes of ‘Seven Worlds, One Planet’ in Ultra HD on the homepage or by searching ‘Seven Worlds’. Remember, you’ll only be able to watch the series in Ultra HD on demand, and not when it’s being broadcast live on TV.
Thanks again for your interest. We’ll be in touch again when we have more Ultra HD programmes for you to enjoy.
Kind regards,
BBC iPlayer Team
