Eutelsat visAvision, the operating company of German head-end in the sky KabelKiosk, will launch its new IPTV platform on May 20, 2014, at cable, satellite and broadband trade fair ANGA COM in Cologne.
The line-up will comprise around 150 TV channels including public, commercial and pay-TV channels – one third in HD quality – and enables linear and time-shifted content consumption both on the TV set and on mobile devices.
The IPTV solution which will support HbbTV 1.5 functions for the first time will also contain an integrated online video library covering file and cloud-based movies and pay-per-view services.
The target group are city carriers and other IPTV providers which distribute the channels and services to their customers.
