Vi skrev 11. oktober at TV-kanalen TNT lukkede fra nytår, siden har vi blevet kontaktet af Turner der står bag kanalen. De fortæller at kanalen lukker som almindelig flow tv kanal fra 31. januar og de fortæller desuden at kanalens indhold fortsætter som SVOD, ligesom det kendes allerede med Turners Toonix tilbud. Altså leveres TNT som et streamingtilbud gennem eksisterende indholdsdistributører.

As we continue to evolve our business to meet the needs of our audiences’ changing viewing habits in the Nordics, we have taken the decision to transform the TNT offering into an enhanced SVOD service. At the same time our TNT linear channel will be closing. With the launch of our OTT service Toonix and now TNT as a fully SVOD destination, alongside the continued success of our linear kids channels as well as news channel CNN International, this positions Turner for long term growth in this important region.
The TNT brand remains an important part of our EMEA portfolio, and includes a number of vibrant TNT linear channels and is also home to a growing pipeline of award-winning original productions
YouSee erstatter TNT i deres flow tv-kanaludbud med Discovery Science her fra nytår.
Vi har forhørt os hos TNT, omkring hvilke tv-udbydere der kommer til at tilbyde streamingindhold fra TNT. TNT oplyser over DIGITALT.TV at Yousee, Stofa og Canal Digital er bekræftet indtil videre. YouSee har endnu ikke en konkret dato på lancering hos dem.
Således er indtil videre oppe på 4 tv-kanaler, der stopper omkring årets udgang.
