Stofa og Neotion i samarbejde om avanceret tv-modul

Neotion leverer et nyt Advanced CI PLUS VOD CA modul til Stofa, så Stofa kunder kan få Smart TV direkte på fladskærmen. Det skriver Advanced Television.

Det nye modul skulle være beregnet til fladskærme med CI+ understøttelse og være udrustet med netværksport for adgang til Internet-baserede tjenester som video on demand og tv-arkiv tjenester som f.eks. DR NU. Med modulet er der således ikke behov for at have en Stofa Smart TV boks stående.

Det nye modul kører helt uden behov for et Stofa kort, ligesom det ellers er tilfældet i de almindelige Stofa kortlæsere moduler, man kan købe hos Stofa i dag.

Så vidt DIGITALT.TV har fået oplyst, så er det planen at starte betatest af det nye modul hos en mindre kreds af Stofa kunder i oktober måned, specifikt på Sony og Samsung fladskærme.
